Fernando Camarillo |
Mr. Camarillo is a 1995 graduate of Texas A&M University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas since 2000 and has over 9 years of experience in Civil Engineering. His experience includes preliminary schematic design and development of plans, specification and construction cost estimates for transportation projects that involve reconstruction, rehabilitation and new location. During his career, he has become adept in developing innovative solutions with his strengths being the ability to communicate difficult problems and motivate a team to complete projects in a quality manner. Mr. Camarillo has served on numerous professional organizations and committees in San Antonio. He is on the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SAHCC) Board, Treasurer for TSPE-PEPP Bexar Chapter as well as a previous Executive Board member and on the SAHCC Government Affairs Committee. Mr. Camarillo was also in the Leadership San Antonio Class 30 2004-2005, SAHCC Golf Fundraiser Committee 2005-2008, SH 151 Gateway Corridor Overlay District Planning Team 2005, as well as the Adopt a Highway US 281 Corridor 2000-2001. Mr. Camarillo was recently approved to be appointed by the governor's office to serve as a board member to the Nueces River Authority. He and his wife Lena Camarillo, an environmental planner for PCI, share their lives with their children Claudia and Javier.
