Stahl Rd– O’Connor to Judson, San Antonio, TX (City of San Antonio Public Works)
As a sub-consultant, PCI was responsible for the design for the reconstruction and drainage improvements on Stahl Rd. The project involved widening a two lane roadway to a four lane with raised median roadway. Tasks included drainage analysis, storm sewer design, and cost estimating. The proposed storm sewer required close coordination with the proposed utilities since the sanitary sewer, water and gas mains were all being replaced. In addition to the design of the drainage improvements, a study and design for improvements to an adjacent school property was required. This project was estimated at $4.3 million and construction was completed in 2008.
